About Us

What is CTF?

CTF(Capture the Flag) competitions are cybersecurity challenges where participants solve problems to find hidden "flags," simulating real-world security tasks in a controlled, gamified environment.

Mission & Purpose

We are ECX Inc., Western Michigan University's premier CTF team, EST. 2013, dedicated to cultivating cybersecurity talent through rigorous training and competitive events. We tackle challenges across cryptography, reverse engineering, web exploitation, pwn, & more.

WRAVEN & Computer Club

ECX Inc. operates as a collaborative effort between WRAVEN (WMU's techical cybersecurity RSO) and the Computer Club, bringing together diverse technical interests focused on practical security application.
